Projects
Deck-Building Fighting Game
This project is a spiritual successor to Spire, the previous fighting game project, redesigned from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 as a deck-driven fighting game that combines elements of fencing and tarot. My role on the project is programming, technical animation, UX design, and card design. The game has yet to be announced in full, but my contributions are visible in the public repository linked.
DOGGONE
DOGGONE is a Unity game from Raconteur Games. I primarily programmed items from the player character to level systems, as well as shaders.
The Legend of Excalipurr
The Legend of Excalipurr is a Wisp Entertainment retro action adventure title for which I was the programmer and designer. It was made in Game Maker Studio 2. See the blog for design details. A demo is available on Steam.
Spire
Spire was an Unreal Engine 4 class-based fighting game where players would build a team and create effects that persisted through the battle. On this project I was the programmer and technical artist.
Teaching Examples
Maze Chaser
Maze Chaser is a simplistic Unity example for students using no imported assets. It is playable using mouse, keyboard, gamepad, or touch screen.
AIE UX Lecture
I wrote a quick primer on some UX considerations for students to consider when developing their projects during my time at AIE.
Flappy Bird Tutorial
This is a beginner's tutorial for entry level Unity developers. It is sent to applicants wishing to enroll in programming.
